adopt  a  neighborhood  work  like  this.    the  cause  prays  about  a  neighborhood  we  can  help.    we  pick  a  day  to  help the  people  of  the  neighborhood  by  doing  light  maintenance  and  yard  work.    Then,  we  go  back  for  periodic  visits to  that  neighborhood  to  build  relationships  and  to  ask  how  we  can  be  of  further  assistance.    we  then  plug  them  into  existing  programs  who  have  the  expertise  needed  to  get  them  on  their  feet  so  to  speak.
